Terms of Use

Effective August 28, 2026 · Belmont General LLC

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Travanity ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App. Travanity is provided free of charge by Belmont General LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Washington limited liability company doing business as Belmont Labs.

Description of service

Travanity is a travel vanity utility. It uses your device's camera and screen as a mirror — including an automatic replay of your back view — with a screen-based ring light, and provides whole-screen light modes (Lamp, Red, Flare, Hazard, and SOS) plus control of the device torch. The App also links to the separate TowFi roadside assistance app.

No account required

Travanity does not require registration, login, or an account of any kind. All app data (your light and mirror preferences) is stored locally on your device and is not synced to any server. You can erase it at any time in Settings → Delete app data, or by deleting the App.

Safety — not an emergency service

The Hazard, SOS, and Flare modes are visual light patterns only. They do not contact emergency services, do not transmit your location, and carry no guarantee that anyone will see, recognize, or respond to them. In any emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) and follow official guidance.

Do not rely on the App as your sole means of signaling for help. Use light patterns lawfully — never in ways that violate traffic or signaling laws or that could be mistaken for an authorized emergency vehicle. Do not operate the App while driving; use it only when safely parked.

Screen, battery, and heat

The App intentionally raises screen brightness to maximum, keeps the screen awake, and can run the torch — all of which consume battery quickly and may warm the device. You are responsible for monitoring your battery, especially in roadside situations. The App restores your previous brightness when you leave it.

Your camera image and photos

The mirror's video exists only in your device's memory and is continuously discarded; it is never recorded or transmitted. Pictures you save with the App are created at your request, stored in your own photo library, and belong to you. We never receive them.

Permitted use

You may use Travanity for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You agree not to:

TowFi roadside assistance

Travanity includes information about and links to TowFi, a roadside assistance service operated by Belmont General LLC. Any use of TowFi's roadside assistance services is subject to TowFi's own terms and conditions, available through the TowFi app on the App Store. Travanity itself does not dispatch help, guarantee the availability of any roadside service, or process payments.

Availability and updates

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or its features at any time without notice. The App works fully offline; outbound links require an internet connection. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted availability.

Intellectual property

The Travanity name, logo, and app design are the property of Belmont General LLC. TowFi is a trademark of Belmont General LLC. All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

Disclaimer of warranties

Travanity is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of light patterns for signaling, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Belmont General LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to damages from reliance on light patterns for signaling, roadside outcomes, battery depletion, or interruption of service. Because the App is free, if liability is nonetheless found, it shall not exceed ten U.S. dollars (US $10).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Washington.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
